• Double-click SystemLook.exe to run it.
• Copy the content of the following codebox into the main textfield:

• Click the Look button to start the scan.
• When finished, a notepad window will open with the results of the scan. Please post this log in your next reply.

Note: The log can also be found on your Desktop entitled SystemLook.txt

That looks correct…

Let's give this a try:

Download System Repair Engineer and save it to your desktop.
Scroll down the same page and download the File Digital Sign Verify Plug-in as well (this needs to be extracted to the same folder as SRE)

• Extract all files to the same folder on your desktop then double click on the SREngLdR.exe icon to run the program
• Select "Smart Scan"
• make sure the "Verify the digital signature of process modules" box is checked
• Click on the [Scan] button (this scan can take some time to complete)
• When finished, click on the [Save Reports] button & save the log to Desktop
• Attach the log in your next reply

You may have to rename SREngLOG.log to SREngLOG.txt to upload it.

it won't let me open them it says microsoft won't open it because there are some parts missing

Did you save it and then extract the files?

yes I saved it to desktop but it won't let me open them.

Once downloaded, you will need to extract it, then run it.

It should repair the files associations with the links on your desktop.
