Hello Texas.Angel, Welcome to the WTT Forum. ^_^ You should buy a power supply that suits your graphics card. So if you're going for a high end card, you'll need to get a bigger and more expensive PSU. It all comes down to budget and what you need it for. Are you looking to upgrade your machine for gaming, or do you just use it for browsing and common office tasks? How much are you looking to spend? Cheers, Nahumi

the power supply should be ample for the upgrades, but know nothing about the make and it's reliability. would need the make of motherboard before saying if it definitely supports that cpu and even if it does(which i'd say yes too) i'm not sure if you can upgrade the cpu, and still have the operating system work, in my opinion, you should be able too and if it wasn't a prebuilt dell i'd say you'd have no problems, but something to keep in mind, you may need to do a complete clean install of the operating system before everything works. if you can afford the extra for the hd5770, i'd go for that, especially if you play games, but if you can't yes that will be fine. any type of memory on the card will work, because it's there to be used by the gpu on the card, it can have ddr5 on the card and only ddr2 on the motherboard in the pc and things will work just fine.
