i had almost 2 gb of photographs and videos on my mmc card.i was working on it for sometym in a cyber cafe…. where i plugged in my card in a card reader…..but later i removed…. now wen i put it on my laptop it shows the folders are inaccesible…. none of the the pics are there….however in propeties it shows clearly that it still has almost 2 gb full content… how can i recover my data? pls help
after this i went to cmd….. and run the chkdsk g:/r command….it asked me if i want to convert these data into files i clicked on yes…. and its still not accesible….
yes it is the same guy. thanks a lot with that….helped a lot…:) i havent been using the system much coz of exams anyway im back with this new problem….hope you can help….
There's not a lot of point trying to recover your photos etc using the infected machine…… You didn't complete the disinfection process in your previous topic . You need to either complete the disinfection process or use a different clean machine. Regards paws
Its very unwise not to continue with a topic in the malware removal forum…. When your logs indicate that your machine is clean the malware removal specialist will tell you, ( absence of symptoms is no guarantee that your machine is clear) If I were you I would post a new topic over in the malware removal forum, and add a link to your old topic that was closed due to inactivity and also a link to this topic here…..a malware removal specialist can then advise you on the best course of action. Once your machine is confirmed clear of malware post back here and we will provide some instructions on what products you can download to try and recover your photos etc. Regards paws
