Hey it seems I am having the exact same issue as you. To the T. Anyway my situation is a bit different. I'm stationed in Afghanistan and using a public wireless system provided to us. So because of that I am not authorized to mess with the router or anything connected to it. So all i can do is search around for the problem in my computer. So heres what happened. A month or two ago i could access the net just fine for a week, then it lost its connection randomly one morning no warning. I checked the list of available wireless networks and it wont appear. There are atlleast over 20 individuals coming and going and accessing the network just fine. It shows up in there available wireless network list and connects just fine. But in my case it wont appear. Then it would just pop back on and i would automatically connect, since that's how i have my computer set up. It would work a for a day or two then die again. I left the sight and i came back and now it wont show up at all. Still showing up for the guys with me and the other random people accessing it. Ive tried the above solutions and to no avail. Was there ever a solution found for this? Im wondering if last time when i was downloading my updates if one of them were buggy and it did something while i was connected. Im operating an HP with vista more details available if required. My wireless is integrated and other networks are appearing for me just not this one and im as close as i can be to it so no range issue,
