Hi there!

Visit: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/
On the left hand side you'll see the option to validate your windows as well as office. Once its validated you can continue to use your microsoft officie installation.

If you fail to validate your installation, microsoft office will block you from opening and/or editting a office file. For instance: you'll need to be able to open and/or edit a word file. Backing up your files is not neccesary (at least; not for this particular situation!)

Howdy:

You buy a legal version. As per the Terms of use "We will NOT help anyone we suspect of having obtained their software illegally."

FYI, because you have basically admitted to using pirated software, odds are your support here has come to an end. Have a great day. Murray
