hi my niece has this computer, and she tryed downloading updates from microsoft ,and they all failed. when she restarted the computer it was a black then blue screen all the lights work and i can hear the hard drive running and i hear the sound as when vista loads but no picture . she came over and i got it to boot and i tryed to do the updates and same thing but now i cant get it to boot. Thanks

Make, Model, HD, Memory, ext.

Can you boot into safemode? if so you may be able to try this.
