keyboard with illuminated keys!

hey friends! Do you use keyboard with illuminated keys. well for that you should be using a desktop PC for sure. I am looking for one and i wanted to know how good these work. Please let me know if you have any negative or positive feedback to give on that. thanks

That's not a given. Many people use external, full sized keyboards with their laptops.

I used to use an illuminated wireless keyboard for my HTPC. It worked but I actually found it somewhat distracting. I supposed if I needed to watch my fingers while typing, and if the room was totally dark, it would be useful, but I no longer use it, and don't miss it.

Also, I measure a keyboard's worth by its "feel" - both in ergonomics for my wrists, and in the tactile characteristics of the key press. IIRC, I did not like the illuminated one - which was some off-the-wall brand.

Thanks for your detailed concern review, i already had some idea of it being uncomfortable for the wrist but i will use it only when i have to work in dark and it is for short hours only so no worries.
