You're welcome, Molly. It's not likely that the malware damaged the actual drive, but the drivers may have been corrupted or damaged. I'd recommend that you start a new topic in our Hardware forum here. Be sure to give whoever helps you a link back to this thread so they know that we've taken care of the malware
