Last night I disconnected my ethernet cable from my home PC and plugged it into my laptop to run some upgrades on it. When I reconnected to my home PC, I could not get into the internet and my device manager noted the device (PCI) could not start and gave me a Code 10. This morning I pulled the card and moved it to the lower slot on the mother board and it started working just fine. My question is, What is the deal? Did I blow the slot on the MB or just unplugging and plugging back in to another slot reset the PCI card? I would surely appreciate any feed back with this problem. Thanks.
