[Resolved] rvbw.nxo error

Every time I start up my computer I get a box that says RUNDLL at the top and inside says 'Error loading rvbw.nxo The specified module could not be found'. This is on my Compaq netbook that is running Windows XP. I spent almost 7 hours online and on the phone with their tech support yesterday with no resolution. They finally decided they are going to send me the recovery disc to use on the computer. However I don't know what they expect me to do with them as the netbook has no optical drive! I don't know what to do to fix this problem and am about to just chuck the netbook in the trash. Can anyone please help me? I don't know what information you might need so just tell me and I will let you know whatever you need so I can get help! TIA!

Download HijackThis .
  • Save HijackThis.exe to your desktop.
  • Doubleclick on the HijackThis.exe icon on your desktop.
  • By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
  • Click on Install.
  • It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
  • Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
  • Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
  • Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
  • DO NOT use the AnalyseThis button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
  • DO NOT have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.

When I tried this the first time it said I had downloaded the wrong version of HijackThis and directed me to another copy. Had to run earlier, but here's the results:

Download OTL to your desktop.
  • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
  • When the window appears, underneath Output at the top change it to Minimal Output.
  • Under the Custom Scan box paste this in:
    netsvcs
    %SYSTEMDRIVE%\*.*
    %systemroot%\*. /mp /s
    CREATERESTOREPOINT
    %systemroot%\system32\*.dll /lockedfiles
    %systemroot%\Tasks\*.job /lockedfiles

  • Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
  • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
  • Please copy (Edit->Select All, Edit->Copy) the contents of these files, one at a time and include them in your next post.

I am so sorry and I feel really stupid for having to say this, but I was running the program on the wrong computer. We have two identical netbooks and I was trying to reinstall windows from the good one by connecting them and got online on the wrong one. I will run OTL as soon as I get it loaded but here is the new scan for HijackThis:

2.Next, open Add/Remove Programs and remove if listed:

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a checkmark/tick in the box on the left side on these:

When I rebooted I didn't get the error message! It started up faster and seems to be running fine. Here are the results of the new scan:
