I was having problems with word so I reinstalled office. Word is working fine now. All of my documents are there. However, all of my emails and contacts were deleted from outlook. Is there a way to retrieve them?

You Outlook data should still be there. Did you have to setup an Email account again?

Look in C:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook for a outlook.pst file. That should contain your previous data.

Good MS article here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/287070
