Message.scr Attachment

Recently, I've been receiving alot of these messages from a "[removed]" They come from places that I have not sent anything out to. It seems like someone is using my e-mail address to send out things to random people, then I get a reply saying that these people's e-mail addresses has "permanent fatal errors."
Here's what I received in my inbox:

I am no computer expert, so Can anyone tell me why my e-mail is automatically sending these messages out?
And obviously, I shouldn't be touching the links or the attachments, right?
What is this message.scr?

I wonder where we all will be "The Day After Tomorrow" with all those viruses out there???

DO NOT OPEN EMAIL OR DOWNLOAD ATTACHMENTS FROM UNRECOGNIZED SOURCES!!!!

That particular attachment to most likely infected with the Netsky virus.

Your email has probably NOT been sending these messages. Your email address is being "spoofed" (falsified) by the virus. I've gotten at least a hundred of the same kind of email that I never sent either.

No, M'am. It's just a fact of life in Cyberspace. Just delete them and carry on.
