Hey guys, long time no see! Some of you may remember me.. or maybe not :D Anyway, I think it would be helpful if when someone begins working a log, they just do a quick little reply 'Hey Im karamazov! I'm currently working on your log! Please be patient while I research!'.. Or something like that. That way there wont be any sort of wondering if the 40 or so views, and 5 downloads from your post are just curious people or someone actually working it. :D

Only the classroom members who need their suggested fix approved, would need to post they are looking at your post.
Also unless the fix request a file to be attached, you should always use copy / paste and post the scan results.
LDTate, thanks for the response :)

I know how it works with the responding with zero posts and what have you. I was just saying it would be cool to know.

As for the attachment, I recall reading on one of the "how to" to download, run, and post dds, mbam, rootrepeal, and erunt. One of those also instructed to post a log.. http://forums.whatthetech.com/Welcome_New_…rs_t106388.html

I also ended up not posting any HJT log because it didnt specifiy to… also because I couldnt figure out for the life of me where to actually download it on here.. but anyway.
Appreciate it.. :D I wasn't necessarily asking how to do it, it seems pretty simple. He had just mentioned not to do it unless instructed by the person actually working the log.. and I was just saying I followed the other directions on the link I gave. I could be mis-interputing it. I dunno. haha.
4. Go to the Infections Removal 5. Click the 6. Give the thread a title that describes your problem and in the post please explain what is happening to your PC and what you have tried to do so far to fix it. 7. Copy/paste the log (that you've previously saved to your desktop) from RootRepeal onto your post. 8. Copy/paste the DDS.txt log (that you've previously saved to your desktop) onto your post. 9. Attach the Attach.txt report to your post by scroling down to the Attachments area and then clicking Browse. Browse to where you saved the file, and click Open and then click UPLOAD. 10. Complete your post by pressing the button below. I dunno, I just followed that.
You did everything right for that fix. Others have attached HJT and MBAM scans that are not readable unless you save it to your own computer and then open it.
