HOW TO MODIFY BOOT.INI

I have my laptop set up with two partions (main+backup/emergency). Can someone tell me how to modify the boot.ini file in order to label the two partions in the dual boot screen? I can view it using msconfig but cannot find a way to modify the file itself. Thanks, LB

Right click on My Computer and select Properties
Click on the Advanced tab
Under Startup and Recovery, click the Settings button
Click on the Edit button
Notepad will open with the contents of boot.ini in it. Make your changes then save them.
