I was wondering about purchasing Avira Premium Security Suite. What y'all think about it? Or the a good security suite. I know about Comodo Security Suite but I've heard reviews that the anti-virus is not so great…
That is a well respected piece of kit, the free A\V is one of the two that most suggest (Avast being the other), but whats best for you varies on what works best with your system (some set up's just wont play nice at times) and your surfing habits, my best advice is use the free trial, if all goes well your laughing, if not you haven't wasted any money, but to offer alternate choices, there is Eset (NOD32) and Kaspersky, all have free trials, so you could try each and see what feels best for you, hope this helps.
NP, just be aware of what the suite protects you from, eg anti spyware etc, and make sure you do NOT have any other real time protection of the same type running at the same time as that breaks the 1 at a time rule, and that means you are at risk, also when running a scan from a standalone program of such a type, eg Malwarebytes etc, pause the real time cover the suite gives before running that and you will be fine.
