hello theres two things you can try first is goto start,run,type sfc /scannow have xp cd ready and click ok this will repair all windows and system files. next if this dose not work goto hot-mail sign in page and click on trouble signing in and goto d/l page and d/l 128 bit security patch or install and d/l it even if it says you already have it. after installing it reboot. allso you need cookies enabled in xp,s fire wall to get into secure sites.
