Ok…. so theres over 100 people on here and know one will give me a hand ??

Normally, I would not respond to such a post as this, but sometimes, I just feel I need to.

A few facts you need to be aware of:

First of all, the only people able to assist you are qualified Malware Removers. This ensures the advice you receive is coming from someone who has received training and will give advice that will not intentionally harm your computer and will eradicate the infection.

The 100 people you see are guests reading posts probably trying to research information that will assist with their own computer problems.

Second, this site is run by volunteers, all of whom dedicate a great deal of time in helping complete strangers with their computer problems - why, mostly because they believe in a greater good, they want to fight back against Malware writers and they enjoy helping people. A little gratitude would go along way.

Third. I counted 31 posts from people older than yours, still waiting patiently for a response.

I would sincerely love to help everyone, but I already have a boat load of open threads and don't have enough hours in the day to help everyone that I wish I could, all the Malware fighters that 'work' on this forum are the same. All of us have lives with commitments to work, family etc. and give as much time as we are able to freely assist others.

There are simply not enough Malware Fighter's available - consider joining our classroom and learn this craft, so you too can help others.

Here are links you may find informative:

http://forums.whatthetech.com/Different_Gr…ch_t103298.html <– this link will give you information on who is allowed to assist

http://forums.whatthetech.com/Self_Help_Fi…alware_f97.html <– self help fixes if you are too impatient to wait for an expert

http://forums.whatthetech.com/What_Do_If_Y…ays_t78698.html <– what to do if you have been waiting longer than 3 days

I hope you are a little more aware now of how a forum operates. Take the time to read all the forums and sub forums, there is a great deal to read and learn.

Have a good day

~CB
NOTE:
  • Malware removal is NOT instantaneous, most infections require several courses of action to completely eradicate.
  • Absence of symptoms does not always mean the computer is clean
  • Kindly follow my instructions in the order posted.
  • Please DO NOT run any scans or fix items without my direction.

Please do the following:

STEP #1

Please download DDS from either of these links

LINK 1
LINK 2

and save it to your desktop.
  • Disable any script blocking protection
  • Double click dds.pif to run the tool.
  • When done, two DDS.txt's will open.
  • Save both reports to your desktop.
—————————————————
Please include the contents of the following in your next reply:

DDS.txt
Attach.txt.

STEP #2

[external image: Posted Image]
Download GMER Rootkit Scanner from here or here.
  • Extract the contents of the zipped file to desktop.
  • Double click GMER.exe. If asked to allow gmer.sys driver to load, please consent .
  • If it gives you a warning about rootkit activity and asks if you want to run scan…click on NO.

    [external image: Posted Image]
Click the image to enlarge it
  • In the right panel, you will see several boxes that have been checked. Uncheck the following …
    • Sections
    • IAT/EAT
    • Drives/Partition other than Systemdrive (typically C:\)
    • Show All (don't miss this one)
  • Then click the Scan button & wait for it to finish.
  • Once done click on the [Save..] button, and in the File name area, type in "Gmer.txt" or it will save as a .log file which cannot be uploaded to your post.
  • Save it where you can easily find it, such as your desktop, and attach it in reply.

**Caution**
Rootkit scans often produce false positives. Do NOT take any action on any "<— ROOKIT" entries
