[Closed] Hijack This Log (Please advise!)

my lap top has always sucked, but in the last two months it has gotten far worse. up untill about four days ago it has run constantly at 100% cpu and everything is insufferably slow. any kind of media lags, music actually plays in slow motion. making a three minute song take about four and a half minutes. and at least every ten or fifteen minutes windows explorer stops responding and I either have to restart it, or it restarts it self. I have gone through all the process in task manager, and haven't found any thing amiss, carefully checking everything running online. but it tells me there are 78 of them running, and only about 30 ever show up. anyway, about four days ago i sat down, and my computer was suddenly running at a near normal pace. but now every minute of so i hear this soft Astrix sound, the sound i get when ever windows has completed anything, like downloading a file or loading something. its driving me crazy, im happy that for what ever reason my computer has of its own accord stopped running as slow, though not as fast as it should. {i still cant load a game like WoW or EVE} but i just want to know what on earth its doing in the background. i have avg spybot search & destroy and i use ccleaner regularly, and they find no problems. I keep hearing this sound, some times its stops for a little while and then it starts up again, and i cant seem to figure any rhyme or reason to it, "online," "offline" running this program" "doing that" it doesn't make sense. anyway thanks again for any input.

My name is Tomk. I would be glad to take a look at your log and help you with solving any malware problems. HijackThis logs can take a while to research, so please be patient and I'd be grateful if you would note the following:

  • I will be working on your Malware issues, this may or may not, solve other issues you have with your machine.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time or two.

Then

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

  • Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
  • At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location and post the results.
  • Note: If you receive a notice that some of the items couldn't be removed, that they have been added to the delete on reboot list, please reboot (shut down your computer then restart it).
Also "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.
