I have a Lenovo R51 Thinkpad with XP Pro installed. I need to do a Clean Boot to determine if a Service or App that auto starts is causing a connection problem for my HP4, connected via LPT1. (MS Tech recommendation) When I disable all of the Services and Apps via MSCONFIG, the system hangs on re-boot with the 'Checking Embedded Security Chip' message displayed. I would like to know; which Lenovo Service has to stay enabled so the system gets through this process and completes the Clean Boot of Windows? (MS Tech is of no help here) Thanks
