Hi, After my system starts and logged in, just in few minutes i am getting the error message "Critical system failure occurred your system restarted within one minute automatically, please save your current work". The system automatically restarted and the same story repeating. In that few minutes i got some details through event viewer, there are 2 errors one is "lsass.exe failed with status code 255." another one is netutils.dll failed. For more information i have attached the error log file. Please any one help me to fix the issue. Advance Thank you. Santhakumar S
Hi mybestfuture, welcome to WTT.

The first thing to try in cases like this is to boot to boot to Safe Mode, login as Administrator and do a System Restore to before the problem occurred. See if that resolves the problem.

If not, try the following:

If you don't have an XP CD, download and create a bootable CD of the Recovery Console from the .iso file

XP Recovery Console

You don't burn the iso file itself to CD., you create a CD from the iso file using your CD burning software. There is a good freeware burner called DeepBurnerwhich will do this. Another called ISO Recorder is also very easy to use.

Boot the CD and at the first opportunity, enter R to start the Recovery Console.
Next, choose which XP installation you want to login to. Normally this will be 1.
Lastly you will be asked for the Administrator password. Just press the Enter key as the Administrator does not have a password (unless you gave it one, then you would enter it).

From the command prompt, enter: chkdsk c: /r

Allow it to complete undisturbed.
Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

I am using Windows 7 Ultimate release build 7000 beta version. Some programs (i was installed them) causing this issue. Restoring to previous point to that software installed solves the issue. But, i need those software.

Please suggest me what to do.

Thank You.

Hi :wavey: :welcome: Have you checked to see if those programs are win7 compatible at all? As win7 is still in beta, one can expect a lot of these kind of errors. Could you post what kind of software we are talking about? There may be alternatives which would work on a beta platform. Regards
