Hello, Okay so my question is how do i restrict the accounts to access only their respective drives or folders… because there are 3 of us using the PC my sister, me and my brother. My brother has his own drive and me and my sister share a drive in a partition. So the layout is this: System C: Me/Sister D: Brother F: since i implemented the limited accounts on each of the three of us, and i also use the admin account, it seems that all the drives and folders are private only for the admin. So what i am saying is that i want to change the restrictions so that i have full control of my folder in the drive whilst restricted to do so in my sister and brothers files and folders. Hope that made any sense. ;)
Hi Carbuncle,

Here is a detailed link from the signature of an Administrator that should help you with your issue.

kind regards,
I actually read that before posting, I was looking for a way to restrict each user to their respective drives. because what happens is, that each of our files are in a partition. The case is that when i created the limited accounts those said accounts cant write/change the files in the partition drives which where our files are located. So i need to know how to change the permission per folder or per drive. like my brother can go and read, write, and change any files and folders in drive F: whilst he can't on drive D: meaning drive D: itself is locked/access denied for his account, or something like that.
Well not really the answer to my questions but after traversing many files and folders. Toiling for an entire night to figure this god**** thing, well not really an entire night but it was long. what i am saying is that i got my workaround… I just moved the "my documents" folder to the specific folder for each account. I can't believe that didn't cross my mind, well I guess i was just thinking too much. well anyhow thanks for the replies. Regards, Carbuncle
