There is no way to do this. You will end up with nothing but problems as there are to many places where the installation drive is recorded to have a prayer of changing them all.
Which one don't you like? Vista on C: or XP on H:. It doesn't affect the way either works, just takes a bit of getting used to.

Technically, it doesn't make a difference. But, in reality, several programs are not designed properly and have C: hard coded into them. Certain programs, a very small percent, will not run properly in this configuration. Surprisingly enough, some of those applications are Microsoft apps.
By the way, Microsoft neither endorses nor supports XP installed on a drive different than C:.
I finely got everything up and running vista is on c and h is xp. So far not a problem. Seem that my restore discs won't let me install vista the way the walk through wants you to do it. Just comes up "Recovery your computer to it's original factory condition" which put vista as drive c and make a recovery as drive d.
