Hi, I need help to identify what exactly is wrong with my computer. I have scanned it with different programs, but they don't spot the actual problem. I have some virus that is redirecting my browser, and preventing me from installing certain kinds of antivirus programs like spybot, and it won't let me update my security features like windows defender. Here is my hijackthis log.

Hi mrsyin and welcome to the forums here at WTT.

:welcome:

It appears to be a Wareout infection, possibly more. We'll have you run MalwareBytes' to see if this can clear it up. Also, let me know if you have a router as some of the newer variants infect the router also.

First, use Use ATF Cleaner to remove temp files,
cookies, cache, ect…

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
If you use Firefox browserClick Firefox at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
If you use Opera browserClick Opera at the top and choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.
NOTE: If you would like to keep your saved passwords, please click No at the prompt.
Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.
For Technical Support, double-click the e-mail address located at the bottom of each menu.

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here or Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy and Paste the entire report in your next reply along with a Hijackthis log.
Thank you so much for responding. I did all the things you told me too, and the malware program found a lot of things. They were delted, and this is the new higjackthis log and below it is the malware program log. Can you tell if it's clen? Or do I need to just test things out?
