i posted two of these a few days ago and nobody responded to it, i dont know what i did wrong but im hoping someone can help me this time….anyways, my computer has been running slow and i just wanted to see if theres anything wrong with whats running on my laptop….here is the log….thanks…..

If you still need help, Scan again with HijackThis, and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.

i have a sony viao laptop and i just bought it in august of 2008, so its new…and its running a lot slower than it should…my antivirus program just picked up a trojan downloader that i got when i was logged into aim last nite…anyways, it didnt infect my computer, i dont think….but i just thought i would mention that in case that helps…i dont know….anyways i have had to reformat my c drive like, 3 times, because of various reasons….the first time i had a keystroke logger that wouldnt go away, the second time my "friend" came over and said he was giving me all this free software from his computer like photoshop, ect….anyways, well he actually messed my stuff up royally by installing all these trojans, keystroke loggers, all kinds of stuff….anyways and the third time i was trying to run corel photo editor and it was saying that the version i had was corrupted and blah blah blah so i called the sony customer service people and they advised me to reformat my c drive….which i did…but i did the kind of reformat that erases the partions too….anyways, that was like 3 weeks ago and i havent downloaded any huge programs on my computer to make it run slow…and ie likes to freeze up and stop responding lately….so anyways i just thought it might be worth investigating….anyways….please please someone help me out cuz i have been trying to get a response for like, going on 4 days now….sorry if im not paying attention to how im supposed to post on here its just that im a single 23 yr old mom with an 11 month old and i have to chase after her every second of the day….. =) anyways, thanks in advance….below is my hijack this log……

I'm not seeing anything bad. Just some that aren't needed at startup


Please do not delete anything unless instructed to.


1.Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.
2.Next, open Add/Remove Programs and remove if listed:
Bonjour

1. All tools MUST be run from the executable. (.exe)
With Admin Rights (Right click, choose "Run as Administrator")

Run hijackthis. Hit None of the above, Click Do a System Scan Only. Put a checkmark/tick in the box on the left side on these:

okay i did everything you said to do….and my computer is acting fine….nothing abnormal to report….but anyways here is the new log file after i deleted the certain keys you mentioned….by the way i was just wondering if you could answer something for me…why the hell did i get a trojan downloader from going on aim? i mean i know sort of how they work, cuz i got a million of them going to the website stickam.com…..but like, is there anything i can do to avoid it? i mean i didnt do anything..when i was on aim all i was trying to do was change my profile pic and then all of a sudden my anti virus thing said it prevented a trojan downloader….anyways..,by bad if im not supposed to ask that here….i was just wondering….back to my hijack log….there it is below…
