[Closed] spyware protect 2009

hello, i really need help here other wise i guess reformatting is only option. i had/have spyware protect 2009 on my other computer. now i cannot enter any web address' (browser has been hijacked) i did go and buy defender pro 2009 15-in-1. so that ran and found all kinda stuff i deleted the stuff. defender pro cannot access the internet to download any updates. i can get on yahoo and msn ect and the redirects have stopped. now i just get inernet explorer cannot display the web page error message. also my flash player will not work even though i have loaded it. thanks coopercat

The process is not instant.
Please continue to review my answers until I tell you your machine is clear.
Absence of symptoms does not mean that everything is clear.
So lets do this to the end!

• Save and quit any work your doing before beginning the fix.
• All hijackthis logs I ask for should be done in normal mode ( not safe mode)
• These logs should be done last after you have followed my instructions in the previous post.
• DO NOT be installing new programs while you run Hijackthis.
• If I do not hear from you in 5 days from my last post this topic will be closed.

Please if you decide to seek help at another forum let us know. There is a shortage of helpers and tying 2 of us up is a waste of time.

Download HiJackThis from here

• Doubleclick HJTInstall.exe to install it.
  
• By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
  
• Click on Install.
  
• It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
  
• Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
  
• Click on the Scan and save a logfile . It will scan and a text log file will open in notepad.
  
• Make sure Notepad's Format Menu has Word Wrap Unchecked.
  
• Copy/Paste the entire log in your Post.
  
• No matter what it says in the QuickStart Guide or elsewhere, DON'T USE the "ANALYZE THIS" button.
  Its Findings can be Dangerous for your machine.
  
• Please Don't have Hijackthis fix anything yet.
  Most of what it is in the log are legitimate entries, necessary for the operation of your computer.

bob i recieved your email with the instructions and link but i cannot open the link from the infected computer …. i am on a different comp. now . When i go on the infected computer and open the e-mail and click on the link to get to this posting all i get from my infected comp is (internet explorer cannot display the webpage) any way to load something on a jumpdrive? or a way to clean or the browser so i can navigate? thanks paul

Yes. Place HJT .exe on a jump drive and install it on the infected machine from there.
