Hey there, First noticed this when using google in Firefox. Search results are redirected through ecata.info and the corresponding links lead to ad pages. Getting pop-ups too. I have been looking for a solution for a while and have followed posts on other sites to no avail. Have used MBAM and SuperAntiSpyware. Hijackthis log is attached. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi legasaurus :)

I strongly suggest that you post your problem in our Malware-removal forum.
Be sure to read this first: http://forums.whatth...ers_t34502.html

The malware forum is a busy place, and the experts sometimes struggles to keep pace. So if
your post is not replied to within 5 days, post a gentle reminder here:

http://forums.whatth...931#entry406931

Important!: Do not answer / double-post your initial thread post, as the malware-fighters looks for zero-replied / unanswered posts.
Doing so, will most likely cause a delay.

As we don't analyze logs in this forum, I'll have an staff member to either remove it, or make it an attachment.
Hope we have your understanding on this.

If you still have any problems after you get an all clear from the malware forum, either post back here, or start a new topic.

Regards Abydos
