Here's the story. Let me start for the beginning.
I think I got some crazy spyware/virus a few days ago. All of a sudden, whenever I clicked a link after doing a search on Google (and I later tried Yahoo with the same results), it would bring me to some unrelated link. In an attempt to solve the problem, I started Ad-Aware and went to bed.
When I awoke the next morning, I discovered that the computer had rebooted. When I tried to log in, it froze up and rebooted again. This repeated a third time. The following reboot, nothing happened. The cursor was on a blank screen, but the log in screen never loaded. Over the past few days I've continued trying. It will occasionally start up (though usually takes at least 5 minutes for something to show up), but shortly after a log in, the dreaded blue error screen comes up and the computer reboots again.
I can operate in safe mode. I tried to do a system restore, but but it says to do that i need to check the disc for errors. When I follow the steps to do so and click OK, nothing happens.
I searched around for some results (which proved to be very difficult with the Google problem) and stumbled upon HijackThis and these forums. I ran HijackThis in safe mode, and these are my results:
