Greetings and Happy New Year!

I'm now getting browser windows spawning, and worse. Win Firewall was discovered to have been disabled (not intentionally by me) and the Local Area Connection is not allowing itself to be disabled. This URL seems to be blocked: http://www.whatthetech.com/. (Funny, I never added it to any "block" list!)

This is a Dell running XP Home, with Comodo AV and Win Firewall. Firefox 3 and IE7.

Stupidly allowed my oldest child to use this computer to play online games.

As always, many many thanks for your help!

Here is the HJT log:

Projects are coming due tomorrow so I got out the big gun and reinstalled the OS. To anyone working on my HJT log, sorry about that. And thanks.
