Hi, Just re-posting this as I forgot about the last post which was closed due to in-activity. I downloaded ATF-Cleaner and ran the program with no problems, it cleaned quite a bit of junk. I tried to run the program DDS but when I run it it says 'Your operating system does not support this program' or something like that. How can I post the entire log of my hijackthis log? Thanks. p.s. Ive just noticed after running the program ATF-cleaner that firefox isnt displaying some pages correctly, i.e. Skysports football page, the font is all strange and the page isnt being displayed right, but when I view it in IE its fine, any ideas? Cheers.

I don't think ATF-Cleaner would have had anything to do with that, but if you are still having that problem when we finish up here then we'll see if we can sort something out, or hook you up with a Techie that will know.

Your HijackThis log was missing header information and running processes. Right-click HijackThis this and select "Run As Administrator…" then run a system scan and make a logfile. Post the entire logfile in a new reply here.

I must warn you that I will not be very active from now on for at least a few days if not more due to Christmas related activities, but I will respond whenever I do get a chance to use a computer.

Would I be right in saying 64 bit Vista?

Our tools sometimes have problems with 64 bit Vista. If the new DDS doesn't work please try this one:
  • Download random's system information tool (RSIT) by random/random from here and save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on RSIT.exe to run RSIT.
  • Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  • Once it has finished, two logs will open. Please post the contents of both log.txt (<info.txt (<
(I don't want this if DDS did work though).

Just to clarify, are you having any problems other than a bit of slowness? (and the new Firefox fonts problem).

Hi, yes its Windows Vista 64 bit. No other real problems apart from the slowness.

I ran the RSIT tool and it only gave 1 file, log.txt. seen here:

I apologize that there is nothing more I can do, but as I say, I'm here for the Malware, of which there (gladly) is none.

It might just be 64 bit Vista throwing out spurious logs, but I can't see any evidence of any AntiVirus or Firewall programs. Is this the case? If so, I highly recommend you get some (one of each). Although you aren't infected now, its only a matter of time before you do if you keep your system like that.
