A coworker is having problems closing MS Word. Each time the document is closed, there is an error message that will say either "Word cannot open the file ~WRS{27DCDBB1..." or "Microsoft Word has encountered an error and needs to close" with an option to report and a check box as to whether to try and recover the document, the latter error message being the most common. After doing a Google search, a suggested fix was to rename a folder in regedit (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Data) to xData which has not solved the issue. One post attributed the problem to HP printers and the drivers. We've made sure the HP software was updated, however that did not help. Any suggestions? OS is XP. Any advice is appreciated.
