A couple of wks ago, I suddenly went from having Administrator to Guest status. My neighbour moved out of toronto and gave our superintendent this computer, which I now have since the "super" gave it to me. Of course, the long-gone neighbour is the only one with the original admin.password, therefore, I am stuck as a dayam Guest
Not only that but AVG scanner detected a trojan a couple of days ago, but even that's not working correctly since I lost my priveledges. The info given was that "Trojan horse SHeur.CGOF" was located in a systems file called "ruvoowa.exe"
I really was hoping to not have to go through reinstalling windows, but realize I may have no choice. Here is a hijackthis log for you if you need it.

Well, it looks like I've found the problem. Seems a Backdoor gave way to a multitude of vulnerabilities, includingVulnerability in Macrovision Driver Could Allow Local Elevation of Privilege(944653), which, in my case is what's happened to the account priviledges issues.
I will add more to this msg, once I get the full report.
Just in case someone's in need of them too.
