This trojan horse came onto my computer via
file: D:\Combo fix.exe
Process C:\windows\explorer.exe
Process description: resource exploration (m.bam.setup.exe)

This changed my driver, my programs, violated my security. Every time I tried to restart the computer from default settings, I still had the problem and was redirected to a fake microsoft site and I had more problems!

I have completely wiped my computer of all programs and have performed Hijackthis and this is the result:

Hi

what indicated you had a problem with ComboFix?

were you receiving help at another site or used this program on your own?

exactly what symptoms are you having now?

where did you obtain those programs from? (combofix and mbam)

Open HiJackThis
Click on Do a system scan only
Check the boxes next to ONLY the entries listed below (if still present):

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file)
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {83A2F9B1-01A2-4AA5-87D1-45B6B8505E96} - (no file)

Close all windows except Hijackthis and click Fix Checked
Click Yes when prompted
Close HijackThis.
