[Closed] Red 3 Skull Horned Circle Virus?

Came home last night to the wife's laptop having been creamed by some type of virus or malware she got while surfing for a place to stay in Homer AK this weekend. The most visual indicator is a bunch of new spyware and privacy protector short cuts placed on the desktop, a totally red desktop background with a circled three skull horned logo in the middle. We can't get any of our mcaffee or spyware guard apps to open to try and clean the system. Running Windows XP. Solutions appreciated

If you still need help, Scan again with HijackThis, and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.
