My pc is taking forever to start up completely. It sounds like it is doing something and cranks away for about 10 mins before I can actually use any applications.

I have other issues too. I cannot open up the task manager. When I right click on the task bar or try to get to it from CTRL-ALT-DLT, it does nothing.

Another problem is occasionally on shut down, I get an RTVSCAN error. I have also gotten the RTVSCAN error when running a quick scan with Symantic Anti Virus. When running a full scan, the pc locked up.

Things that I have done thus far…

1. Cleaned up temporary internet files and cookies
2. Ran a defrag
3, Ran Adaware
4. Uninstalled unused applications
5. Went into msconfig and stopped some services and programs from starting up
6. Applied all windows updates

Is there something I can fix through Hijack This? Here is my log….
