My (better) eye is bandaged until Saturday. I'll try then. <– Second time you said that, have you had surgery??

It was merely bad yesterday…this morning it was worse so I went to the eye doc..my right cornea is in the habit of shedding it's surface, which ain't no pic-a-nic. No surgery…just a scraping & compression bandage for couple days then??…

I think I would just let it be as its not malware, if you want to get rid of it you can try this.

First remove this entry with HJT

I'm feeling a LOT better, but I'm seeing a cornea specialist next week to find out why this keeps happening to me. I'm a pretty decent guy, so the whole thing strikes me as unfair.

Neither Uniblue nor Registry Booster is listed in the C: \Program Files\ folder, and there is no Uninstall app in the \ Applications Data \ Uniblue folder.

Internet Explorer is still very slow, and fails to launch frequently. Firefox 3 seems to run pretty well. i'm inclined to forget about IE and just use FF3 going forward. This PC has been running pretty much 24/7 since I unboxed it, maybe it's just getting tired.

Open HijackThis > Do a System Scan Only, close your browser and all open windows including this one, the only program or window you should have open is HijackThis, check the following entries and click on Fix Checked.

then deleted the Uniblue Folder & Contents from the C:\Applications Data\ folder,

Hello

  • Your Java is out of date and leaving your system vulnerable.
  • Go to your Add-Remove Programs in the Control Panel and uninstall any previous versions of Java (J2SE Runtime Environment)
  • It should have an icon next to it:

    Select it and click Remove.
  • Reboot your system.
  • Then go to the Sun Microsystems and install the update
  • Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 6 <–This is what you need to download and install.
  • If you chose the online installation, it will prompt you to run the program.
  • If you chose the offline installation, you will be prompted to save the file and you can run it from wherever you saved it.
  • Then after install you can verify your installation here Sun Java Verify
I like to to do the offline installation and save the setup file in case I may need it in the future
