[Resolved] Need to learn how to change the oil on the laptop

1st problem that I am having is video stream is chopping for applications such as youtube. Starts then waits and the starts again.

2nd part is I would like to "clean up" my computar and remove not used or needed programs. CPU usage jumps from 30 to 70 percent sometimes and dont know what is causing the blips.

3rd is to learn how to "change the oil" on the laptop and keep it tuned up. Trying to be proactive before it gets away from me.

Hi martin1515, I've had a look at your HijackThis log and can't see any indication of malware. This doesn't by any means guarantee your machine is clean, but what you have said doesn't sound like malware is likely to be the problem. If you wish, we can have a closer look at your machine and give it a thorough check, or you can ask the Tech Team in one of the general troubleshooting forums for help with the issues you report.
