ok so i have tried 8 differet spyware removel and so on and i can see to get this to go away. the problem is wheni am surfing the interenet, from about 3 min of longer and then i close downthe internet i get a pop up . seeing this i know its sometime of malware or spyware. i have tried ccleaner ,spyware doctor,pestpotrol,norton,mcfee, al a couple of others and still having the same issue.anyways here is my hackthis log

you really didnt install 8 of them right, one or two is plenty.


scan with HJT, put a checkmark beside the items below, close all windows and click fix checked.

ok thats what i thought it was but i have been runnning into a problem . i never noticed it inthe hjt but its in the notepad verison. so i cant put a check next to it but i can see it in the notepad.another thing is also that i can not find the winflyer in system32 dir, which is funny becuz if i go to add/remove programs its says it onthe computer but if i say delete it it says its not there. so with tha in mind im lost ....and yes i have downloaded 9 now and stopzilla says there is a total different problem then winflyer it calls it vundo or other but i cant find that anywhere nor will stopzilla fix that i never really have issues with spyware this is a first on my own computer.. i will redo the hjt log for you

one thing when i try to do a hjt scan i get a error"for some reason your system as denied write access........etc" then i push ok on that error i get another error#75 - path/file access error

if you cant see that dll in the system32 dir, try this to show all files:
To enable the viewing of Hidden files follow these steps:

1. Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.
2. Click on the Start button. This is the small round button with the Windows flag in the lower left corner.
3. Click on the Control Panel menu option.
4. When the control panel opens you can either be in Classic View or Control Panel Home view:

If you are in the Classic View do the following:
1. Double-click on the Folder Options icon.
2. Click on the View tab.
3. Go to step 5.

If you are in the Control Panel Home view do the following:
1. Click on the Appearance and Personalization link .
2. Click on Show Hidden Files or Folders.
3. Go to step 5.

5. Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files and folders.
6. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide extensions for known file types.
7. Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files.
8. Press the Apply button and then the OK button and shutdown My Computer.
9. Now Windows Vista is configured to show all hidden files.

i dont see it in the log now either, its possible that one of the malware scanners you ran removed it.

if i go to add/remove programs from control panel it still list winflyer as a remove program but when i go to say uninstall it says the path isnt there lol i have yet to have a pop up after closing internet explorer or any for that fact . it just worries me that its in the add/remove program list

what ever removed it probably left that behind. you could try clicking on it to remove it like you would normally and see if you get a message about "its already been removed, would you like to remove it form the add/remove programs list" might work, worth a try. shelf life

hi, i didnt think that would work, its for legit items, not malware. there are some (free) products that will remove add/remove program panel items that get left behind, but any for vista. i dont know. you have several malware scanners, i would remove some. really two is plenty and vista comes with windows defender. not sure which one actually removed winflyer, but if you know you might try running it once more. i will see if i can find one that works on vista. shelf life
