[Closed] Help me with my windows xp urgently

I think I downloaded microsoft upgrade sp3 by mistake (dont know if this is the problem) now when i switch on windows does not show any icons for programmes only has my normal background and sometimes the icons appear briefly then go away again. Please help me soon getting frustrated as i am not that good with these sort of things. Many thanks. David

If you still need help, Scan again with HijackThis, and "copy/paste" a new log file into this thread.

Also please describe how your computer behaves at the moment.
