Malware Protector 2008 Infected

I have a brand new (under a week old) computer that has been hit up with this lovely piece of malware. I did try to manually remove it, but I'm still stuck with the annoying background box that says, "Warning, Spyware Detected on Your Machine." I think I could pay the $50 to get rid of it, but I really hate to pay the person that caused the infection. :angry:

Hello, and Welcome :)
I will be assisting you with your malware issues.
Please be patient as I need some time to review your Hijackthis log and i will post back recommendations for repairs.
As I am still on training, everything that I post to you, must be checked by an Admin or Moderator. Thus, there may be a tiny bit of a delay between posts, but it shouldn't be too long.

I'm sorry, I just couldn't wait any longer, and I rebuilt this machine tonight. I'll start a new post if I was unable to get rid of the malware, as my posted Hijack This log will be out of date anyway. Thanks, Erin
