Alright, well, update attempts are futile at these speeds. Trendmicro's antivirus run in safe mode always closes before the scan is over. The symantec antivirus always gets hung up on C:/FAUXVIRUS/carny_ride.exe but I can't seem to find the file through manual browsing. I also think a virus may have taken over administrator privileges as the owner doesn't recall ever setting an administrator password but there is one.

Sorry, I'm impatient :) . Anyways, I removed adaware and all other unnecessary programs including symantec (I can reinstall after I'm clean). It started picking up a little speed so I restarted in Safe Mode and ran Kaspersky with the following results and manually deleted the files that weren't locked (denoted with "-" prefix). I'm going to just leave this computer in safe mode for now so nothing gets reinfected from a reboot or anything. If you need another HIjack log, i'll be happy to post. Thanks for any help you guys and I apologize for my impatience and lack of expertise.
