I need something that will create a log file for someone to paste into a post even as simple as a show processes in hjt without using hjt

In an effort to not use any specific antimalware tools, are their any other options for looking at startup processes, especially for vista?

Does this work with vista?

Just had a quick look on the tool you're linking to. Look at the update dates. The tool were updated last time in jan. 2003 !! And the page itself in aug. 2005. So I don't think it will work with Vista. Not even sure if it will work with XP anymore.

This may be of help: ISeeYouXP. A fantastic application by ShadowPuterDude :thumbup:. Which if I have read and understood the change-log correctly is Vista compatible and within the log generated will provide the pertinent information you seek.
