[Blight]

So, basically, we have two PCs in the house, and after the family noticed that their computer was infected by this worm, I scanned mine, and there it was. Since the other computer's anti-virus flipped out and stopped working after trying to delete the worm with it, I thought there must be some other way, and came here with hopes of experienced help.

While searching for more information about this worm this topic on the ZA forums showed up, suggesting it's a false positive. I noticed I hadn't updated my ZoneAlarm for a while, and after I installed the update the worm is no longer found where it used to be. I don't really know, so I'm just throwing stuff out there.

My computer isn't really acting weird. The reason I even got worried was that my brother's World of Warcraft account was hacked, so I thought he may have had some kind of keylogger. Other than that, nothing too odd, really.

Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune.
Download - ATF Cleaner»
Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
Under Main choose: Select All
Click the Empty Selected button.

(If you use FireFox or the Opera browser
To keep saved passwords, click No at the prompt.)

It's normal after running ATF cleaner that the PC will be slower to boot the first time or two.

Next:

Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your desktop.

• Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
• At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
• Once the program has loaded, select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
• Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
• When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location and post the results.

Also "copy/paste" a new HijackThis log file into this thread.
