[Resolved] Slow startup and slow to close

Thanks for your help, just a couple of queries: 1 - What did HJT indicate needed removing/altering on my PC? 2 - I use Firefox as a browser - are there any Firefox settings that need to be changed? 3 - I use a ZoneAlarm firewall and occasionally the Windows Firewall when I can't get an eBay page to load - you say you don't recommend ZoneAlarm any more - should I change to another? 4 - Thanks for the tips on RAM - so there's really no need to stop some of those applications from running, just increase the RAM? Thanks for your help - much appreciated

The only possible infection I saw was from a USB device like a Flashdrive / Thumbdrive.
