Hi bmxlicious,

Your computer has been infected by what appears to be a password-stealing trojan. If you use this computer for sensitive purposes, such as internet banking then you should immediately use a known clean machine to change all your passwords. Also consider notifying your bank(s) etc that your login credentials may have been compromised.

Temporarily disable Windows Defender:
  • Open Start->All Programs->Windows Defender
  • Click on Tools from the top menu, then press Options
  • Scroll down to Real-time protection options, uncheck Use real-time protection and press Save
  • Close Windows Defender

Please download the latest version of HijackThis from here (right-click the link, select Save Target As..., select your Desktop and press Save):
http://downloads.mal.../HJTInstall.exe

Once you have downloaded the new version, remove the old version via Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs and then use Windows Explorer (right-click Start & select Explore) to delete the old program file:

C:\Program Files\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe

Then run the new version's installer HJTInstall.exe and follow the prompts.
After installing, HijackThis will open automatically
NOTE: When running HijackThis please right-click the program or shortcut and choose Run as administrator

When HijackThis opens, choose Do a system scan only and place a checkmark next to the following lines:

O2 - BHO: testCPV6 - {15421B84-3488-49A7-AD18-CBF84A3EFAF6} - C:\Program Files\CPV\CPV8.dll
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [java] system.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [java] system.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSServer] rundll32.exe C:\Users\LA5AA~1.BCA\AppData\Local\Temp\mlJDusrS.dll,#1
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [cmds] rundll32.exe C:\Users\LA5AA~1.BCA\AppData\Local\Temp\khfDvwWp.dll,c
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [BMf1cfa51c] Rundll32.exe "C:\Users\LA5AA~1.BCA\AppData\Local\Temp\oxfdeofx.dll",s

Then close all open windows apart from HijackThis, press Fix checked, OK the prompt and close HijackThis.

Now, reboot your computer

Please download OTMoveIt2 by OldTimer to your Desktop (right-click the link, select Save Target As..., select your Desktop and press Save)
  • Double-click OTMoveIt2.exe to start the program. (Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
  • Copy the lines in the OTMoveIt file list below to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of them and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose Copy):
    OTMoveIt File List:
    C:\Windows\system32\system.exe
    C:\Windows\mrofinu.exe
    C:\Program Files\CPV
    C:\Users\LA5AA~1.BCA\AppData\Local\Temp\mlJDusrS.dll
    C:\Users\LA5AA~1.BCA\AppData\Local\Temp\khfDvwWp.dll
    C:\Users\LA5AA~1.BCA\AppData\Local\Temp\oxfdeofx.dll
  • Return to OTMoveIt2, right click in the "Paste List of Files/Folders to Move" window (under the yellow bar) and choose Paste.
  • Place a checkmark in the box marked Zip Files After Move
  • Then click the red Moveit! button.
  • Copy everything in the Results window (under the green bar) to the clipboard by highlighting ALL of it and pressing CTRL + C (or, after highlighting, right-click and choose copy), and paste it in your next reply.
  • If OTMoveIt asks to reboot your computer, allow it to do so. The report will appear in Notepad after the reboot.
  • Close OTMoveIt2

Then open this page in your browser:
http://www.bleepingc....php?channel=32
Please fill in the link to topic field with a link to this topic
Press the Browse button and browse to this directory:

C:\_OTMoveIt\MovedFiles

Select the zip file DDMMYYYY_HHMMSS.zip where DDMMYYYY is the date and HHMMSS is the time that you used OTMoveIt.
Then press Send File, this will upload the file for analysis

Download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your Desktop (right-click the link, select Save Target As..., select your Desktop and press Save)
  • Close all applications and windows.
  • Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
  • When the scan is complete, two text files will open - main.txt <- this one will be maximized and extra.txt<-this one will be minimized
  • Make sure Format->Word Wrap is unchecked
  • Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of main.txt and extra.txt in your reply

Once complete, please post both DSS logs, you won't need to produce a new HijackThis log as DSS produces one for you.
