Hi folks,
I`ve been into pc`s about a year and a half now and have read about Hijack This logs and how good they can be for getting rid of accumalated stuff on your pc.I`m new to this program and have done a scan and removed a few things(just Yahoo toolbar stuff) and was wondering if someone could just take a quick look at my log to see if anything is out of place.
I do have an entry relating to Pacific Poker which i rarely use, will getting rid of this stop the program from working?

I do have an entry relating to Pacific Poker which i rarely use, will getting rid of this stop the program from working?

I'm not too sure what will happen if you remove the entry - O9 - Extra button: PacificPoker - {94EDF7B4-4272-4af3-8F8B-4E2F68E225B7} - C:\PROGRA~1\PACIFI~1\pacificpoker.exe
09 entries correspond to buttons on the main Internet Explorer toolbar or items in the Internet Explorer 'Tools' menu that are not part of the default installation.
I'm assuming that it will just remove some of the functionality that is presently available to you, but I can't guarantee that it won't upset the program as a whole.
HJT makes backups of anything that you remove with it, so you could undo the removal if it doesn't go according to plan, should you wish to experiment.

1) Run HijackThis as you did to generate a log, but this time click on 'Do a system scan only'.
Place a checkmark in the boxes to the left of the following entries, by clicking on them:

R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page =

F3 - REG:win.ini: load=
F3 - REG:win.ini: run=

CLOSE ALL OPEN WINDOWS AND BROWSERS - EXCEPT HJT and click on Fix checked

2) O9 - Extra button: (no name) - AutorunsDisabled - (no file)

O24 - Desktop Component AutorunsDisabled: (no name) - (no file)

I don't know what these entries were, before they got some Autoruns attention, so if you know and aren't going to put them back how they were in the future, they can go too. Other than that, all looks well.
