Help! Downloaded Riyo Codec on Vista

I downloaded the Riyo codec yesterday and started noticing that when clicking on Google links it was taking mr through some other search engines. I am also unable to access certain websites which I could access before. I read in the forums it can stop you being able to uninstall programs, but this is not a problem for me. I used the 'uninstall' link to try and uninstall it. When this didn't work, I deleted the files themselves. I probably shouldn't have done this? I tried also running a spyware scan with no success and tried using a restore point on my laptop (it could not be restored). Anyway, I have done the HijackThis thing:
