hello,
My computer is infected with the malware riyocodec. The standard solution for this problem (here) doesn't work on Windows Vista.
My computer still runs slower than before; and the internet explorer frequently jumps to random sites (mostly gambling and porn) when I'm using google, which is very annoying. Even when I type an URL in, the explorer doesn't go to the site, and it takes usually three times until the explorer accepts it, and doesn't go to a gambling/porn site.
Below is a Hijiack This file of my computer today. Even Hijackthis seems to have a problem. When I run it, a window pops up that tells me that my computer denies access to the "host" files in the windows/system32 folder. but it still produced the following logfile:

I have asked the question already (here) but then went into Christmas vacation, and didn't follow up.
the same question has been asked here, and here
but no answers so far. So is it impossible to remove riyocodec on a PC that has Vista?
Your help would be much appreciated!

ps
I have asked the question already (here) but then went into Christmas vacation, and didn't follow up.
the same question has been asked here, and here
but no answers so far. So is it impossible to remove riyocodec on a PC that has Vista?
Your help would be much appreciated!
