Running ComboFix will Disable Autoruns as a security measure. It is HIGHLY recommended that they remain disabled as they are a source of infection on many systems.
If however you require them, please ask me.

Nero may require a reinstall as will Alcohol.

For your physical drives, do the following if you really need to have them run in Aurorun Mode. (Even Microsoft does not recommend it)

Launch Notepad, and copy/paste everything in the codebox below into the new document, including the word REGEDIT4. Go up to "File Save As" and click the drop-down box to change the "Save As Type" to "All Files" and save it to your desktop as fixme.reg.

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoDriveAutoRun"=dword:00000000
"NoDriveTypeAutoRun"=-

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]
"NoDriveAutoRun"=dword:00000000
"NoDriveTypeAutoRun"=-

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Cdrom]
"AutoRun"=-

3. Locate fixme.reg on your Desktop. It should look like this [external image: Posted Image]. Double-click on it. You will receive a prompt similar to: "Do you wish to merge the information into the registry?". Answer Yes and wait for a message to appear similar to Merged Successfully.

4. Restart your computer.
You have parental controls running on that system as well as IE Restrictions in place. Without Daemon Tools you probably will not have any virtual drives and Nero may be damaged. Did you get the message stating that the registry script was successfully merged?
I had Nero and Alcohol before Daemon Tools. And the parental controls were added after the drives stopped working. I got the message that it was successfully merged. Maybe it is all unrelated, but I was wondering. I reinstalled Alcohol, and I tried to download a new driver from Dell, but neither works. I just uninstalled the parental controls
I probably will not be able to help you with this but I can give it a shot at diagnosing the problem.

Please download Deckard's System Scanner (DSS) to your desktop.
  • Close all applications and windows.
  • Double-click on dss.exe to run it, and follow the prompts.
  • When the scan is complete, a text file will open - Main.txt
  • Copy (Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C) and paste (Ctrl+V) the contents of Main.txt in your thread in the HijackThis Log Help Forum.
  • An additional text file, Extra.txt,will also be available (by default) in the following FOLDER, C:\Deckard\System Scanner.
  • Please go to that FOLDER and also copy the contents of Extra.txt to your post as well.
Note: some firewalls may warn that sigcheck.exe is trying to access the internet - please ensure that you allow sigcheck.exe permission to do so.

What DSS will do:

  • Create a new System Restore point in Windows XP and Vista.
  • Clean your Temporary Files, Downloaded Program Files, and Internet Cache Files, and also empty the Recycle Bin on all drives.
  • Check some important areas of your system and produce a report for your analyst to review. DSS automatically runs HijackThis for you, but it will also install and place a shortcut to HijackThis on your desktop if you do not already have it installed.

Post Logs:
  • DSS Scan Results: contents of 1) Main.txt and 2) Extra.txt

The only anomalies that I am able to comment on are as follows:

A. Please UNINSTALL CiD Help. This program is constantly reinfecting you with the LOP infection.

B. I recommend that you try to replace/repair any missing/corrupt critical system files:

1. Please go to Start -> Run -> type cmd and press Enter.

2. At the command prompt type sfc /scannow, making sure to put a space between the "c" and the slash, and then press Enter. This will run the System File Checker.

3. Follow the prompts, and insert your Windows installation CD if requested.

4. Then please REBOOT your computer.

If none of this helps. we will proceed with the final cleanup procedures and direct you to a specialized forum where you will have access to someone who is more knowledgeable in this field than I am.
My Windows disk is at home (I am at college right now) and will take a few days to arrive, so I will try that later. Will I be able to access these specialized forums later? Is there another tool i can use?
