i'm not sure what i'm infected with. i've tried spybot, spy sweeper, ad-aware, panda, smitfraud. i have two icons in my system tray.

first is a red circle with a white x in the center. on mouseover it says "Windows has detected spyware infection! Click here to protect your computer from spyware!".

second is a yellow triangle with a black exclamation point in the center. on mouseover it says "You computer is infected!".

i cant seem to get rid of these annoying icons. any help would be greatly appreciated. here is my hijackthis log:

Hello x1s1x300 and welcome to the What the Tech Forums

My name is Trevuren and I will be helping you with your problem. Your log is still showing signs of infection.

Please download ComboFix by sUBs from HERE or HERE directly to your Desktop.

Note: If you already have a current version of ComboFix on your machine, please DELETE it from your desktop before downloading the newest version.

Go to [external image: Posted Image] -> Run -> copy/paste the following single line command in the runbox & click OK

"%userprofile%\desktop\combofix.exe" /killall

[external image: Posted Image]
  • ComboFix will automatically start. Any monitoring programs will be shut down like your antivirus, antispyware programs for example.
  • ComboFix may restart your computer, this is normal.
  • When finished, it will produce a log, ComboFix.txt.
  • Please post ComboFix.txt in your next reply along with a new HijackThis log.

Notes:
Do not mouse-click Combofix's window while it is running. That may cause it to stall.

CF disconnects your machine from the internet. The connection is automatically restored before CF completes its run. If CF runs into difficulty and terminates prematurely, the connection can be manually restored by restarting your machine.
you were right, still infected. everything came back. i ran combofix and it seems to be running better.
here are my new logs.
