I am still using Internet Explorer 6
I'll restart and it will be fine, but after several hours usually more than 12 it reverts back to having problems. when i try to run any application including task manager the computer gives an error message that says The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000012d). Click on OK to terminate the application
it seems that my ram is really being used up when I can get the task manager to initiliaze
when i try to restart using the start menu, the computer will say "you don't have permission to complete the operation"
So I am sometimes forced to hit the power button
This has been going on for a few weeks.
I've updated windows
I've updated Avast antirus and run a thorugh scan, some trojan horses were removed from really old files that never gave me problems before. I've run Ad-Aware and Spybot and removed whatever else i could find. And the problem is still occuring.
I've attached my Hijackthis log file. Please let me know if you have any recommendations.
lately I can tell when the system is not working by seeing the start button is missing the word "start" and quick launch area is empty when i click on the arrow icon to see all the quick launch buttons
